On 28.11.2022 the Research Center at the Cihan University – Duhok, in cooperation with Clarivate Analytics, Web of Science a symposium entitled “The importance of Web of Science (Clarivate) to researchers” at the Peshmerga Hall at our university.

The session began talking about how to use the title, abstract, and cited references (optional) of your manuscript, Manuscript matcher evaluates over 5 billion data points and applies patent-pending text mining and cited reference relationship algorithms to produce its recommendations. The feature will recommend from 2-10 high-quality journals indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection. The Journal Impact Factor, Rank in Category, and Quartile in Category for each journal are provided.
And she continued talking Another option is to use Journal Citation Reports to identify highly-cited journals in your field. Journal Citation Reports is sourced from Web of Science Core Collection, the premier citation index on the Web of Science platform. Journals must undergo a rigorous evaluation by our editorial team in order to be covered in Web of Science Core Collection. We capture the cited references for all content from these journals, and we link those cited references to the cited papers. This article-level citation data is aggregated to the journal-level at the end of the year to create the indicators available in JCR. Use the filter panel in JCR to limit to the categories that interest you, then sort the table based on several available metrics.
