The Duhok International Film Festival is the annual even held in the city of Duhok that gathers local and international film makers from all over the world in an activity packed week that consists of film screenings, panels, red carpets and many other activities.
For its ninth installment, the festival is collaborating with Cihan University in Duhok. With the chance for all student and staff of Cihan University to watch all films that are screening at the festival for free!
An information desk has been set at the university in building No. 2 that will be providing all needed information to the audience with catalogs and programs. The venues that the festival will be screening their films at are Duhok Mall Cinemax as well as the Conference hall of the University of Duhok.
The festival will be holding their opening ceremony on (1/12/2022) at 3:00PM in the Conference hall of the University of Duhok, with a special screening of the film The Rain Bride by Hussein Hassan. Then the festival will continue for the next 7 days until (8/12/2022).
