The Fifth Middle East Eye Diseases Conference convened in Dubai from October 19-21, drawing the participation of over 500 ophthalmologists worldwide. The conference focused on advancing scientific breakthroughs in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, as well as highlighting technological advancements in eye surgery.
Prof. Dr. Hisham Yousef Bayezid, a renowned consultant in immunological diseases at Cihan University – Dohuk, participated in presenting significant research. His focus centered on immune diseases impacting the eyes, delving specifically into iris diseases and the contemporary immunotherapeutic approaches employed to address these challenging and otherwise incurable conditions.
