In collaboration with Cihan University – Duhok, CLICKS organized yesterday an online session titled “TRENDS SHAPING THE FUTURE OF HIGHER EDUCATION: A PATH FORWARD WITH CLICKS,” the event attracted 500+ participants, including Prof. Dr. Zerevan Abdul Mohsen Assad, President of our University and all university leaders from Iraq and Kurdistan, deans, heads of departments, educators and ministry representatives.
Special guests, HE Prof. Dr. Hayder Abed Dhahad, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and HE Dr. Mohammed Hussein Ahmed, Director-General – Head of Apparatus of Supervision and Quality Assurance at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kurdistan of Iraq, have joined the event and addressed the audience expressing the importance of the topic and their commitment to exploring different ways of collaboration.
The session addressed global trends impacting higher education, covering technological advancements (AI, robotics, blockchain), globalization, and the focus on skill-based education. CLICKS’ CEO, Dr. Narimane Hadj-Hamou, in her intervention as the main speaker emphasized collaborative strategies between governments and universities for an agile and responsive sector.

The opening session was moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nawar Al-Saadi, the Director of the Research Center at Cihan University – Duhok.

The highlight of the workshop was the keynote address delivered by Dr. Narimane Hadj-Hamou, the Founder and CEO of the Center of Learning Innovations and Customized Knowledge Solutions (CLICKS).
