Cihan University – Duhok Concludes the First Cybersecurity Training Camp
On Monday, April 7, 2025, Cihan University – Duhok concluded the activities of its first Cybersecurity Training Camp, organized by the university’s Research Center in collaboration with the University of Technology – Baghdad (Center for Information Technology, Electromechanical Engineering Department), and the Diraa Al-Aman Center for Cybersecurity Services in Karbala.
The closing ceremony featured the distribution of participation certificates by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Zervan Abdulmuhsen Asaad, and the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Bayar Mohammed Rashed, in the presence of academic staff and participating students.
The camp was supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Abadi from the College of Computer Science at the University of Karbala, and Mr. Mohammed Al-Saad from the College of Science at the University of Baghdad. The students underwent an intensive academic training program covering both theoretical and practical aspects of cybersecurity.
This camp provided a valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange between Iraqi universities and played a vital role in enhancing students’ awareness and digital skills in this ever-evolving field.
