Duhok – September 2026: Cihan University–Duhok held its annual performance evaluation event for academic and administrative staff for the academic year 2025–2026, in the presence of the University President, Prof. Dr. Zeravan Abdulmuhsen Asaad, at the CCH Hall.
The event reflected the University’s continued commitment to strengthening a culture of performance, productivity, accountability, and continuous institutional development, while recognizing the efforts and achievements of its academic and administrative staff throughout the academic year.
During the event, Prof. Dr. Zeravan Abdulmuhsen Asaad, President of Cihan University–Duhok, delivered a detailed presentation on the University’s annual performance evaluation indicators. The presentation focused on the mechanisms used to assess staff performance, with particular emphasis on working hours, productivity, work commitment, and overall performance.
Prof. Dr. Asaad highlighted the importance of adopting objective and measurable indicators in evaluating institutional performance, noting that effective evaluation systems contribute to improving productivity, enhancing efficiency, and supporting a stronger culture of professional responsibility within the university environment.
The presentation also provided an overview of how working hours and productivity indicators can be used to better understand individual and institutional performance. Such indicators provide an important basis for identifying strengths, recognizing outstanding performance, and supporting areas that require further development.
Following the presentation, Prof. Dr. Bayar Mohammed Rashid, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, presented the results of the annual performance evaluation for the academic year 2025–2026.
The results reflected the performance levels achieved by the University’s academic and administrative staff during the year and highlighted the individuals who demonstrated outstanding commitment, productivity, and professional performance.
The event also included a recognition ceremony for faculty members and staff who achieved the highest rankings in the annual performance evaluation. The recognition was presented in appreciation of their dedication, professional contribution, and commitment to supporting the University’s academic and administrative objectives.
The ceremony provided an opportunity not only to announce the annual evaluation results, but also to emphasize the University’s approach to rewarding excellence and encouraging continuous improvement. By recognizing high-performing members of its academic and administrative community, Cihan University–Duhok seeks to encourage a positive and productive working environment in which individual achievements contribute directly to the University’s broader institutional development.
