Dr. Amer Aladhadh is an Iraqi-American economist and investment expert who currently serves as an advisor to Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and the Chief Executive of the government’s Reform Management Cell. He brings extensive experience in economic policy and reform management at both national and international levels.
Previously, Dr. Aladhadh advised Qatar’s Ministry of Commerce, participated in the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) working party on Public-Private Partnerships, and conducted quantitative analysis for leading hedge funds on Wall Street.
With a Ph.D. in Economics and Financial Policy, Dr. Aladhadh has held prominent academic positions, lecturing at esteemed universities such as Gulf University and Georgia University, with a focus on macroeconomics and financial policies. His impactful contributions include devising innovative economic strategies that advance Iraq’s economy and enhance institutional efficiency globally.
